Thursday, August 23, 12-1 PMYWCA Public Official of the Year Awards LuncheonServing 10 years each in the Utah House of Representatives, Rebecca Chavez-Houck and Becky Edwards have been committed to strengthening the lives of Utah women and their families.Throughout the conference, there will be working sessions in YWCA's three priority areas: Empowerment & Economic Advancement for Women and Girls, Racial Justice & Civil Rights for Women and Girls of Color, and Health & Safety for Women and Girls.There also will be a special Pre-Conference Session with Martín Carcasson, PhD, Director, Center for Public Deliberation, Colorado State University on Wednesday, August 22, 8 AM – 5 PM at the Thomas S. Monson Center.
